Welcome to the JFN

The Japanese possess a wealth of hidden wisdom and technology. The aim of the RSA Japan Fellows' Network (RSA JFN) is to draw out this latent potential and provide the bridge to connect it with the wider world. To do this, we intend to bring together Japan's change-makers through our programme of discussions and events, and, with the support of the RSA's global network of entrepreneurs and innovators, encourage them to make their unique contribution to Japan and the world stage.

Our initial public meeting was held in April 2012 after many months of planning and development. Around 40 people attended and there were some excellent presentations and discussions. Matthew Taylor, CEO of RSA sent a video message of greeting and Prue Leith, a former Chair of RSA and Council member told all present about the wonderful benefits of RSA Fellowship through a video. Details of the meeting can be found here.

We have since been holding monthly discussion groups, sharing ideas on how to revitalise Japan, and designing initiatives to put these ideas into action.
